I’m a writer and a painter, I have three cats and I love reading Haruki Murakami, especially when I’m alone at sea (actually, I love him anytime)
I love writing about love, absurd things and the invisible.
For me writing is about understanding myself and the world around me as well as about living life. As Haruki Murakami says, “ if you want to write, you must first live”. So writing is in a sense that invisible life that we’re afraid to live.
My first memory with writing was I when I turned three years old and my mum put several objects in front of me: a lipstick, a pen, a 5 dollar bill, a earing and a couple more. The object that I chose was supposed to dictate my career that I would follow later on. I chose the pen (i also chose the lipstick, but that’s another story:)
It was my first conscious decision made and to be fair, I don’t regret it the slightest even after almost thirty years now.
During this time, I have written all kind of weirdnesses, from poetry, short prose, theatre plays, adaptations, travel journalling, theatre reviews and magazine articles.
You can find some of the articles I wrote here:
I also run weekly creative workshops on my social media platform and am in the process of developing an art therapy online course focused on therapeutic writing.
If you are also a writer/creative fellow worker, drop me a line, I would love to hear back from you! Actually, drop me a line anyway. In a time where we are encouraged to stay home and live for ourselves, it has become an act of courage to wave and smile at a stranger. So, don’t be a stranger! Love, live and write!
